Daily Rhythm
Morning Exploration
Our typical morning routine involves venturing outdoors to visit a variety of locations such as playgrounds, libraries, indoor play areas, or natural settings outside the city. Our mode of transportation is dependent on the destination, and we utilize either a cargo bike, stroller, or local public transportation. On occasion, we opt to remain at home to engage in sensory play, art, music, and dance to recharge and focus on social and emotional skills that may present differently in a home environment.

Lunch
Our lunch routine typically involves dining at home, although we occasionally opt for a picnic lunch while on the go. We prioritize creating a social experience around mealtime, complete with a hand-washing routine and song, communal eating, and engaging conversation. We offer a variety of lunch options, including sweet potato lentil curry with rice, veggie frittatas or quiches, frikadeller, black bean fritters with guacamole and various soups and chilis. Additionally, we serve quesadillas with chicken, beef, veggies, or beans.

Naps/Rest-time
After the lunch break, we begin the process of winding down and preparing for nap time. We take responsibility for tidying up any toys that may still be out, changing diapers or assisting with toilet use for those who are potty trained, engaging in storytime, and gathering transition items. If your child observes their peers using an item that they do not typically use at home, they may wish to begin bringing along. Alternatively, they may choose from a selection of stuffed animals or blankets that we have available.

Snack
We provide snacks in the morning and after nap time. Our snack options typically include fruit or veggie sticks, muffins, cheese and crackers, dried fruit and nuts, pancakes, yogurt with homemade granola, healthy homemade cookies, and homemade buns or bread.
